I had this huge craving for Colombian food the other day, so I went and feasted on empanadas and bandeja paisa (I haven't had a real craving for anything in a really long time, so I feel like it was kind of a breakthrough!)... Some knitting notes to keep track of where I'm at. My sad handwriting...
Reconnecting myself with nature. The other day the weather was beautiful, and I felt like a terrible person for feeling like shit and staying inside all day, so I moved all my comforts (tea! security blanket! music!) and knitting to the deck, and soaked up the gorgeous afternoon sun peaking through the trees... We went to the beach a few weeks ago for our anniversary, and the place we stayed had these lovely hibiscus bushes outside, I loved watching them bloom throughout the morning!
On Instagram, I'm participating in a photo challenge this month, and one day the theme was 'reading'. To be honest, I haven't picked up a book in a while, so I just grabbed a favorite and snapped a pic, but then noticed that this tomb had a story by George R. R. Martin, that I had previously always skipped over. I ended up reading it, and spent the rest of the day re-reading all my other favorites from this short story collection. I need to find a good series to read!
Also, these stamps showed up at work the other day... I almost ripped them off, I love them so much!
No pictures of cats, for shame! Maybe next time. My fluffy one has been floofing like crazy lately, I have been vacuuming almost everyday with the hand vac, just to keep it under control.
Hope your week is starting out good! And with less tufts of cat hair floating around!
